Kent and Medway Young Musicians’ Trust Registered Charity Number 1101969
The Kent and Medway Young Musicians' Trust was set up to help young people who might be prevented from taking part in various musical activities because of financial difficulties. For example, the Trust is able to make awards to help towards the cost of musical activities, which are organised on a countywide basis in the geographical area of Kent and Medway.
To be eligible for a grant you must be under 21 years of age (or you must be a full time music student under 23 years of age). You must live in Kent or Medway or be at school in this geographical area. In addition, you or your parents or guardians must be able to answer some questions about income and expenditure - particularly in relation to what is being spent on your music (instrument, lessons, courses, etc) to see whether you come within the framework of the Trust. If you think you are eligible to apply for help, you should email celiachapter@hotmail.com or write to: The Grants Secretary 3 Douglas Road Maidstone Kent ME16 8ES outlining your circumstances briefly and giving your telephone number. The Secretary will then telephone you to explain what information you would need to provide to make a formal application for a grant.
